School Administrator – Permanent Contract

BS Grade 6 – £20,092 per annum – pro rata – 32.5 hours per week.

Term time only plus 3 weeks, which is 41 weeks. Required Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm from Monday 2nd November 2020

We are looking for a highly organised, friendly, professional and approachable candidate to join our team as School Administrator from November 2nd 2020.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and interpersonal skills and be able to provide a warm welcome to visitors and parents while working efficiently and effectively to maintain high standards as part of the school front office team. The successful candidate will be a highly committed, enthusiastic addition to our Federation team where excellent communication and organisational skills are crucial. They will need to be able to work efficiently in a busy school office environment where attention to detail and confidentiality are paramount.

We are looking to appoint someone who:

· Can offer general reception duties such as answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, contacting parents and be the initial point of contact for callers to our schools

· Is proficient in IT skills

· Can provide confidential and high quality administrative and ICT support using Microsoft Office, Live Kitchen, Evolve, the DfE portal among other systems*

· Has knowledge of inputting pupil data on SIMS/Scholarpack including attendance, admissions etc

· Can oversee, maintain and develop the Federations website and social media pages

· Coordinate ICT support in all three schools

· Coordinate extra curricular trips and visits

· Can lead all communications with parents using Parentmail, Dojo, Live Kitchen, Scholarpack and social media pages

· Administrate the Educare system for all staff training

· Has a desire to play a key role in the continuing development of the three schools

*Some training will be available on systems that are new to the appointed applicant however knowledge and experience of a range of IT systems is essential.

Applicants should have a proven track record of working in an office environment and of being part of a team.

Teacher of English/RE and Catering – Maternity Cover 0.8 fte ( MPR)

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to cover for our English/RE and Catering teacher during her forthcoming maternity leave.

A much smaller secondary school than the average, Samuel King’s is nevertheless fully comprehensive and serves a unique community. We are seeking to recruit a candidate of the highest calibre. Someone who can excite, enthuse and get students fully involved in the study of their subject. The post is for Key Stage 3 English and Catering teaching and whole school KS3/4 Religion, Philosophy and Ethics teaching and will be for four days per week for the Spring and Summer term 2021.
