Carnivore, herbivore or omnivore?

In science today we have been learning about how to identify and classify and decide if an animal is a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore.
We sorted the animals carefully then looked at a rather strange container full of animal poo (playdough!!) we had to guess what the animal diet was.
We had lots of chat about how this was pretend and not to do it in real life to keep ourselves safe but the playdough experiment was a big hit and really got us thinking and identifying! Sometimes its the very strange but hands on that really gets us learning :-)
