Year 8 have just started exploring self portraiture. They will use different techniques and inspiration form artists to complete their final piece.
Year 7 clay techniques
Year 7 are practising their ceramic techniques. They are researching sir Grayson Perry's Art for inspiration.
Pewter casting year 9
Student in year 9 Design and Tech, have been working on 2D design to create a template they can then cut out on the laser cutter. They have used the templates to cast pewter key rings.
Berlin collage
Year 8 have been collaging memories from their visit to Berlin.
Tote bags
Year 7 finished their first sewing machine project. They have made tote bags, and will print images onto these next week.
M.C.Escher
Flinty have been looking at Islamic art. We took this further by looking at MC Eschers art. He gained repeat pattern inspiration from Islamic art.
