Year 7 Volleyball
Year 7 have been working hard in Volleyball this morning. Some great communication with each other helping the game flow much better. Keep up the hard work!
Year 7 pyjama party
What a fun night year 7 had last night at their pyjama party. The afternoon kicked off with games in the school hall, followed by a disco led by various budding DJs and then pizza and chips in Mrs Jones’s catering room. Thank you to year 7 for your enthusiasm and amazing company.
Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)
Year 8 have been exploring hooks and riffs this term. This week, they performed the Eurythmics hit ‘Sweet Dreams’. Some students drummed the steady rhythm on the cajons, others learned the keyboard chords and some sung the melody. Well done year 8!
The Phantom of the Opera
Year 9 have been exploring musicals and this week they practised playing the infamous ‘Phantom of the Opera’, learning how to play a chromatic scale and using an organ sound for effect.
Christmas Market
If anyone is having a clear out in readiness for Christmas and has any bits that would be good for a tombola, teddy tombola, raffle or just any toys and books that are no longer required we would love to have any donations as we look ahead to our Christmas fair on the 3rd of December.
