Children independently changed their photograph to black and white.
We discussed that images that we see in different places can be altered as well.

Forest School Friday! Today Anna talked to us about campfire safety in our session before we toasted marshmallows. We got to eat them with biscuits. We also got to meet our two new resident chickens!
The book bus visits Cross Fell
Today we visited the book bus and each got a book to take back to share in class, we absolutely love it when they visit us and get so excited to see which new books we can enjoy.

Computing last week and Cross Fell continued with digital photography. We looked at framing and where to place the thing we want to take a photo of.
Challenged to take a poorly framed photo and then a well framed photo, the children took some fantastic photographs.
The book advent calendar returns
Our much loved book Advent calndar is back! Today we opened to first book in the pile and we can’t wait to see which story we get tomorrow!
Maths in Cross Fell
Yesterday in maths we worked in groups using base 10 to show greater than and less than. It was fantastic to beable to use a range of resources to demonstrate our understanding and then work with a partner to share our understanding.
