Exploring our school grounds
In Science we are learning about animals including humans and really enjoyed getting out into our outdoor area to look for evidence of different animals that might be living there. Super observing everyone! :-)

Welcome back everyone!

Farm Visit
We enjoyed a farm visit to see lots of lambs and learn about the process of looking after them. We also enjoyed a walk around the farm, finding other animals and an explore by the river.
Gilderdale Visit
We had a visit to Gilderdale Forest School. We enjoyed exploring the area, climbing and using obstacles. We also got to enjoy rock painting. We had a recap on our fire safety rules and enjoyed toasting marshmallows around a fire.
Comic Relief
We created our own giant red noses for Comic Relief. We used paper mache around balloons to create the shape and then once dried, decorated with paint.
Walk to Fairhill
We went on a walk to Fairhill to explore the woodland area and investigate the ponds.
Live Author lesson
For World Book Day, we had a live follow along drawing session with authors. They taught us how to draw the squirrel from 'That's not my flower'.
