We have been looking at space in Art and made moons out of paint and salt.
Paper dress design based on Our visit to the Bowes Museum.
After studying Viviene Westwood's fashion design, inspired by 17th & 18th Century fashion and the punk movement, we visited the Bowes museum to take inspiration from it portraiture exhibits. Year 8 students have created paper dresses based on their research.
The Oregon Trail
Year 9 students gave been creating leaflets guiding the early settlers across the great plains and safely over the Rockies to find their fame and fortune.

In science we have been making predictions about which objects we thought would sink or float and then carrying out an experiment to see if we were right. Great predicting and testing everyone.

Year 9 Trampolining
Brilliant work from Year 9 on the trampolines this morning. Some pupils perfected their somersaults with others pushing themselves to improve tuck jumps and front drops.
