Key Stage 3 Learning

We have been exploring solos and harmonies in choir this week.  Danika has been sharing her expertise from her GCSE singing lessons with Mr Waldock.  The choir are enjoying learning some new songs in preparation for our next performance.  

Today in our lunchtime club we had some year 7s showing off their golfing abilities using the Wii!

After studying Viviene Westwood's fashion design, inspired by 17th & 18th Century fashion and the punk movement, we visited the Bowes museum to take inspiration from it portraiture exhibits. Year 8 students have created paper dresses based on their research.

Year 9 students gave been creating leaflets guiding the early settlers across the great plains and safely over the Rockies to find their fame and fortune.

This week students at Nintendo Club were working together on Super Mario Bros. All agreed it was great fun!

Year 7 and Year 8 have had a great time doing gymnastics in PE today. Through vaults and trampoline basics were the focus of the lesson.
